Jamie Droske

I took over S.A.C.A. Kickboxing in June of 2017. When I first started I fell in love with the sport and wanted to help out any way I could in order to fulfil my passion for it. After  about a year in, I had competed in a few continuous tournaments. Not long after that I started a class of my own! The Little Kicks class for ages 4-9! It became so successful that I had to split it up into 2 classes in order to give my time fairly to each student. I had my first exhibition fight right here in Medicine Hat on the card Southern Brawl. Taking the loss was hard but it made me hungry for more! Over my fight career I have traveled through Southern Alberta, Saskatchewan and recently Ontario. I have been in the ring 20 times, although my record isn't what I would like it to be, I fought some tough opponents and made many friends along the way. In 2012 I won the Western Canadian Kickboxing Title, proudest moment of my life! The Kickboxing and Muay Thai community is like family and once the final bell rings on your last round you pat each other on the back with the utmost respect!

It is my goal to continue to keep the sport of Kickboxing and Muay Thai alive in our community. I plan to help my students build confidence, be respectful and look out for one another both in and outside of our club. I will continue to build the confidence it takes for my students to stand up for themselves in the fight against bullying. I strive to have the best sportsmanship in the sport by teaching students that it is ok to win or lose, as long as you give it 110%!
